I've read in a PC magazine about
3D browser. The things look quite cool. Maybe because this time, when the user wants to surf the website, the website is put inside a 3D environment.
This concept makes me remember back the time when the VRML is going hype around 4 or 5
years ago where it is also about 3D world inside the browser.
One of the famous product of 3D Browser is
3B. It will setup all the websites that we choose and put it
inside a virtual reality environment and arranged the websites so that they will look like wall,
building, window panel and etc. One of the advantages of this new way of surfing is that user can
know briefly about the contents of many sites at...
...one go as
oppose to the current search engine method where user must click one-by-one link to know the content of
each of the websites. From my personal point of view, this is an
interesting and exciting way of browsing but I'm not so sure if user can use this for a long time or just for a
short time, for the sake of trying.
Anyway,
it would be really
cool to have this thing on my PC and impressed my fellow friends
:) Unfortunately, the minimum system requirement needed by the software does not allow my PC to install
them. It requires at least 256 MB of RAM and you also need to have broadband connection for smoother
surfing. Hope that I can try it out soon. You can visit their website for more info at
